I worship you as a god. (I am creepy and confused.)

I'm really enjoying Destiny at the moment, sure it falls short in terms of plot and content, and has some awful and repetitive gameplay mechanics; however, the game provides some of the best FPS team play available on console, the PvP is enjoyable and well paced, and the artistic qualities and overall aesthetic of the game are awesome and immersive!
Going on this basis, and in an attempt to refine the games strengths, I'd like to spew a few little ideas that I believe would add to the overall multiplayer and co-op experience.
1. Vehicles with more than one seat, eg. A two man speeder, but preferably a vehicle that has space for three. Bungie have always delivered when it comes to vehicle mechanics, and it seems wasted if you can't share that with friends. For example, cruising with your homies in a Warthog on Halo was always a worthwhile pass time. This would come in extra handy on Patrols (especially when heading towards public events), and in PvP.
2. Player housing: a building in The City, apartment in The Tower, or preferably the interior or a room inside of your ship. Sure, this may take away from The Tower's overall population, but by having no vendors (or volley / soccer balls) in the player home, the necessity to visit The Tower would remain, thus keeping it's population. This idea offers a worthwhile use of your ship, as opposed to the dead pixels that currently occupy your loading screens, offers further immersion and customisation, and a nice place to chill with friends (or afk in, which so many individuals seem to do at the tower). Even if the home is not within the ship, you could have a landing zone atop the home to flaunt it. It would be nice if you could set a destination whilst still at the home, without having to orbit.
3. Melee weapons. The swordplay on one of the moon's story missions (I forget what it's called) is the highlight of the entire campaign (which really says something about the entirety of the campaign and narrative). It's a shame to let this mechanic go to waste and would be nice to see it usable as an event within a strike, or as an exotic weapon. However balancing this for PvP may be an issue. A shield (similar to the riot shield in "CoD: Modern Warfare 2") could also potentially be an interesting addition.
4. Dynamic events in strikes / raids. For example: Swordplay for a segment of the strike (previous idea); a collapsing floor that drops you onto a slope which then puts you into a constant slide (sprint + B / Square slide), as you slide down to whatever awaits in the depths below you must shoot obstacles out of the way to avoid taking damage or explosives off the roof above you; events where - on your speeder - you must evade a boulder chasing you / floor collapsing / death ray; things like this to change the pace up a tad.
5. More emotes + interactive emotes! Up on the D pad would open a list of emotes to use, and left, down, and right, would offer hot keys for your top three. The current emotes can create some hilarious moments, and it'd be nice to expand on that. It would also be nice of you could high-five / shake hands / hug other guardians. To activate the emote, one person would use it on them, and the other would click up on the d pad to accept the invitation to hug, resulting in two exo male titans fixed in a long and loving embrace.
Destiny has a lot of potential, and my experiences with MMOs (which destiny emulates even if you don't consider it to be one), has taught me that it's the small things that count (as well as solid and in depth gameplay). In an MMO player interaction is key, and the aforementioned ideas build towards more interaction and essentially more fun as it takes away the grinding sensation. If you're able to openly interact and play with others, then it doesn't matter how many times you play the same strike or grind away at the same boss (obviously it does a little, I'm exaggerating) because you're going to create a different experience based on how you and your team communicate and play.
Anyways what would you guys like to see implemented in the game and why? (Let's lay off the "refunds" and "an actual story" posts. I bet the first post will say one of them now.)
