I'd prefer more of a tank than a person that can run fast with the relic, but that's just my opinion.

I tend to agree with this although it's not a huge difference I run relic on Titan and hunter, and hunter isn't too far behind if you max out your armor attribute

Hunter is a Patient and precise class that really you have to have skill to play as. If you dont belive me give you level 30 hunter to a call of duty player. He wil get destroyed
