Wasn't quite sure where to post this. This is a link to an interview with one of the bungie staff. Take from it what you will.

As for platform exclusivity, suck it up. You don't like it don't buy the product. I'm not condoning this type of business model, however, it's what the gaming industry has turned into. They want us to fight over which console is better, so we're not seeing the real problem, rich bungholes (who don't care about your experience) that only see the bottom line. Gaming is a huge multi-billion dollar industry that spans the entire globe. A couple thousand people in America crying for transparency is like trying to get a crack head to stop smoking crack...it works there. How many games have been hyped like this but never met expectations? Off the top of my head, AC 3, CoD Ghosts, the launch of BF 4....the list goes on and on. I feel disheartened when something like destiny comes along, with so much promise and ends up being lackluster. I'll still play, and have fun patrolling the barren waste that is the frontline for the survival of humanity. It's strange I figured the be more going on. Anyway, sorry i prattled on. I had such high hopes, that were yet again dashed by greedy corporate douchebaggery.
Clyde out!
Thanks for taking the time to read my post if you did, I know it was a bit long winded.
