No it's not. That's not how Bungie used to portray themselves before their deal with Activision.

Edited by York-259: 10/30/2014 2:45:17 AMRevenue models change. DLC wasn't that big of a profit generator back when halo 3 came out. Now DLC is paramount to making money! Games wouldn't exist without someone to fund them, and those ppl want returns on investments.

Games can 100% live on without DLC. Destiny has already made their money because of the hype. You only mention Halo 3 and forgetting that Halo 1 and 2 did just fine without it. Companies like the now Bungie are becoming nothing but money hungry and it's showing in their lack of content and story. It has been a 10 year project and it feels like they have barely spent a couple of years in it. Due to this it's absolutely my right to complain.
