I wouldn't have bought the game in the first place if I had to keep paying to play it. I buy a game and that's it. I already pay for gold, I'm not going to pay anymore for this lackluster game. It was a rip off and I honestly want my money back but that won't happen so I believe they should fix their -blam!- up for free.

But you can't deny there are games out there that do this to upkeep their servers. Bungie isn't Sony or with Microsoft any longer they don't see the subscription fees those companies charge going to them. WoW and FF Online are examples of this. FF Online is console based so Destiny wouldn't be the first to do it.

While you are correct other games use subs/micro payments your point is completely invalidated by the simple fact that destiny was not sold to the consumer as such
