I don't agree. I spent so much time grinding to get my level 29 gear that I think looks nice and then I HAVE to change it to get to level 30 and look like everyone else? That's dumb I'm sorry but that's a problem.

you don't have to get lvl 30 other than hardmode raid 30 is purely cosmetic

I'm sure when the new content comes out level 30 will help

Not really its mostly lvl 18 story missions and the raids are lvl 26 as well so no real need to go above 29 unless you're going to hardmode raid

Which is wrong. Save the cosmetic reward for emblems. Let your level show your loyalty to the game itself

And it will after you grind out your gear from the raid it should be that much better knowing how much harder it was to get for you
