Don't dismantle your Stranger Rifle.
With Bungie you never know if it's actually a key to a Easter egg.
The Stranger hands it to you. This could be Bungie's way of saying this is important for other things.

2 RepliesI dismantled all mine a long time ago. I had three characters, then deleted one and started over, then did that again. I've had a total of five fully levelled characters. I never finished the last story on my newest Warlock until two weeks ago; got to level 20 beforehand. When I got the Strangers Rifle this time, I locked it. I ran around with it for a day and had a lot of fun with it. Since it is a low level gun, it still sucks though.

9 RepliesPlus (someone may have said this already) it is pretty much a game changer when you have made a new character for the level 16-20 bit, its got to be the best primary level 16-20s can carry for PVE (as well as pvp). I had played as 3 titans and recently deleted 2 for my warlock and then hunter. Every time, as soon as they hit 16, give them strangers rifle. Compared to whatever white or green scout or handcannon they had been weilding, strangers rifle is a massive step up

10 RepliesI have a theory that it turns into Fate of All Fools, due to the models being the same, and the color schemes being Stranger's Rifle; Yellow with Navy Blue accents and Fate of All Fools; Navy Blue with Yellow accents, and the Fate of All Fools has the same color scheme as the Exo Stranger. Not to mention, with the Fate of All Fools pretty much being confirmed as an upcoming bounty, it seems as likely as ever. Even the name; Fate of All Fools, as in, you'd have to be a [i]FOOL[/i] to dismantle the Stranger's Rifle, because your [i]FATE[/i] is not being allowed to have a Fate of All Fools.

2 RepliesTo bad I dismantled all 3 of mine... All3 of my guardians have been here since launch, so I never had a chance to keep it! Plus, I don't have vault space for all my weapons actually worth something. So....
