Lol seriously. I predicted this from the beginning, before alpha. I said if you randomize drops, you are contradicting the very method you claim to pursue. You don't "earn " that which is randomly given to you.

Well you said it, it's random! I'm sure it increases your chances depending on how well you did but still random.. I'm sure it really doesn't happen that often where the bottom player gets the best stuff on the winning side. Honestly out of the thousands of games that have been played already, I'm sure it rarely happens and of course it's "not fair" but honestly it's a game, have fun and stop worrying about things so much.

3 RepliesI actually read an awsome solution to this earlier It said something like: seing as there are 2 slots that show up at the end of the match one should be based on how good you done and the other should be luck (rng) Personally I thought that was a great idea that balanced PVP rewards better

The borderlands games have a random loot dropping system with a full trading system in play. Both games still rocking and since 09.

Guys, how dare you actually have to be good to get gear in Crucible. That's not fair to crippled Jimmy! That's why we can't have kill streaks or supers. The better you do, the better you do. Everyone has to be in a fair position! I do not understand why they couldn't compromise between RNG and doing well gets you rewarded. Should top person get a guaranteed Legendary? No. [b]But if getting a Legendary is a hypothetical 3% chance, top player should get it bumped up to say 5%.[/b]

I saw a girl get a legendary engram yesterday in PvP. She didn't get a single kill in the whole match and she wasn't AFK. No assist either. Everyone else got nothing. I've been first and gotten nothing. That's not earning.

It's funny you mention this because we've wondered how loot drops are randomized in crucible. We've played & had the top slots & not get a thing where as someone will get 1 kill maybe an assist or two & get coins. it sucks. cause i feel unworthy. I wish i took a pic of my match last night. I had 30 kills & got nothing. Another friend sucked his way into last getting a purple engram & blue gauntlets.

5 RepliesI think the best way to address this would be this: The better a player does on strikes and crucible, the higher percentage of better more often drops. This means the retards who cant work the stick still get things( not as often or as good) so they still have a reason to play the game and participate in a good player database. However, the better players get rewarded for being better. :)

The OBVIOUS answer here from Bungie is this: AFK farm Crucible and do homework/watch movies with your woman. No woman? AFK farm + porn. Earn that loot.

Also idk if anyone knows this. But how that bottom guy looks like he has 4 rolls but 2 unused. My buddy had that happen and when he went to orbit he actually ended up with 8 drops from one pvp match...
