6 RepliesI love my wife and kids, so it pains me when I finally turn on my ps4, start a strike, then 5 minutes into said strike gotta turn it off for whatever reason under the sun. I'd choose Destiny if i could, but that would just make me look selfish. Though the passive aggressiveness runs strong when i have to turn off the game.

Yep totally get this I'm sneaking in an hour here an hour there cos of this. Still loads of fun but stops me from being able to go uber hardcore. But hey bedtime comes wife falls asleep and let the gaming begin!

4 RepliesNice, I instantly become enraged when my gf makes me go get food or her son or basically do v anything after I start playing Destiny (usually right after) and I say: "Ok baby!" But as soon as I drop her the boy off and I'm out of earshot: "God Damn it! Every freaking time, I didn't play any games and was a perfect boyfriend for over three months and just worked every day during this summer. I deserve this!"

Look at it like this...you can also do a lot of other things that are equally rewarding in their own way

Strange coins will be there after a hour and a half of the Captain punching people. (; ...Mind, Xur may not be. XD But seriously, it's not a big deal. Relax, have some family time, then go back to he fight Guardian. Xur and the Coins will be there for a few more hours at least.

Kudos to you for prioritizing your family over your own preferences! I totally sympathize as the father of a 20-month old little girl (gaming at night when everyone else is in bed or during naptimes). I'd totally donate the few strange coins I have to you for your virtue if Destiny had a system that allowed for that.

I make it work, I restarted last night due to trading consoles and got to level 12 in 4 hrs. You can do it. ;)
