WTF is the Cryptarch's problem?
The cryptarch is Pure Evil.
After HOURS of grinding I finally get a Primary Weapon Legendary Enegram and do you know what that asshole gave me?

1 ReplyAt least he didn't give you a legendary, which in turn gets your hopes up, only to find out that it's for a different class. Just spam rare ones, that's how I got my legendary machine gun.

Got 2 legendary engrams on a strike I got legendary revolver....on the other hand I got a legendary Titan helm wtf I'm a hunter.

4 RepliesYa, so I just soloed the vault of glass and it turns out the last boss is the cryptarch and the loot is all of the legendarys and exotics he stole from us.

I believe that he has a lost and found box behind his market stall. You hand him an engram, he picks a random lost and found item. I'm just waiting to get a pair of used socks for my legendary boot engram.....

He loves the look on my face when I turn in a legendary and gives me +2 light armor...he did finally "allow" me to get some legendary boots yesterday though so I didn't kick the soccer ball into his nether regions.

I got an exotic Titan body armor from a legendary engram. Unfortunately, I play a Hunter. I wish they had some way to exchange this for something useful to the current class.

I can not complain about him, he gave me an exotic hand cannon from a legendary engram called The Last Word, but at time it feels like he is stealing the loot...

2 RepliesIts like gambling dude. You actually have to get the rank up higher in order to get better gear. So bring the rank up to 10 and you should get a better gear.

It's extremely random... First legendary engram gave exotic scout rifle, since then 30 legendary engrams and all rare and uncommons

9 RepliesHere is the part I don't understand (and mind you, I like to think I'm a pretty reasonable man) What's the point of a purple enegram giving you something different than a purple? They are rare enough as it is, why build in a sub rarity table to an already rare item? It almost feels like someone a Bungie thought it would be fun to be cruel :( Next weekend I should have enough motes to buy an exotic enegram from that dude but I'm afraid it has a 99% chance built in to be a blue. This is def the only thing that's bumming me out from the game.
