Kinda ashamed that I went through a strange phase, to distract myself from unfortunate life events, where I thought way too much about this. The system has little real application, beyond being able to appreciate that people are not all motivated by the same things -- which should be obvious! In fact, I would say the system has the potential to do more harm than good, as people, rather than developing their empathy or self-knowledge, seek to try and understand themselves and others through a very restricted framework. It's okay to have a bit of fun with, but don't give it too much thought.
