Lesbian couple in hot water...due to statutory laws.
Has anyone been following this case at all? I've been catching up.
What are your thoughts?
Is this a clear cut case of statutory -blam!-?
Are they being targeted due to orientation?
If this was a man of the same age as the older girl and his partner was the same age as the victim would the outcome, charges, and media attention be different?

3 RepliesI think that judges should do their jobs and view the law within the context of the situation. There is not any abuse going on, they are within a range of maturity that the relationship is on equal footing, there's nothing wrong with this.
