"which console is better?" NO.

I decided to write this because i see these arguments and they are pathetic and unjustified! Who cares what console you will be choosing? Personally i will get the ps4 then save for an Xbox one afterwards! The fact is, destiny is why we are all here in this forum, whether you play it on playstation, or Xbox. It is still going to be a great game on all platforms. So why argue about these things when it is pointless and unnecessary, especially in a place where the majority of people don't actually give a shit what console they will play on. And specifically on a forum solely for topics on Destiny. Oh and those of you on Wii U. Be brave.

  • The problem with the Console vs Console debate is that we have nothing better to talk about. We haven't really gotten anything new/interesting since E3. Bungie Week was a flop with regards to Destiny info revelations so we're stuck dissecting tid bits of interviews and a gameplay trailer (even though we've seen 15 different versions of said trailer its stll the same trailer) that we've been mining for the past 2 months. With nothing better to do the forums have (De?) evolved into a couple very predictable categories: People asking for stupid shit. People making up stupid shit. New members starting new threads about topics that were already beat to death 1 day - 2 months ago. Some genuinely interesting threads with good discussion. and.... The Console Wars. The next big tidbit of info we get will dramatically skew thread topics towards new info until that info is also completely broken down and the cycle continues. Once the game actually releases there will be a flurry of new activity on the forums likely with a not insignificant amount of console fan boy pissing contests, but at that point it wont really matter. The two biggest new categories will be spoilers/quest help and people whining about things being over powered. This will continue for about 6-12 months depending on how much there really is to do, and then the cycle will begin all over again with the wait for the next DLC or sequel or major title update.
