has the mass effect fan-base gotten over the ending yet?

I still dislike the whole space magic, god child crap. But that can't be changed anymore. However, despite that, all my problems with the ending were fixed with the Extended Cut. It's not as good as what was originally meant to happen, mind, but it's tolerable.
