"This piece is meant to be a "sequel" to the tank image released by Bungie. I imagined the soldiers traveling great distances to reach a ruined city on a lost human colony world. At this point they get their first glimpse of the city as they leave the snowy highlands and descend towards the ocean."

You did a really good job of portraying a desolate landscape that still holds a lot of wonder and awe from an ancient time, despite being really unforgiving and dangerous. Reminds me a lot of the Nights Watch from A Song of Ice and Fire. Specifically the rangers beyond The Wall. Awesome.
