Don't think so, he is FFT and then using the geomask as a mask to threshold the FFT'd image. His post is lower in this thread. I have asked him for a little more detail in his process.

Ah okay, yea that makes sense.

If you understand how he's doing it would you mind giving a brief explanation of the masking/thresholding? He is using layers of the images from TTL linked above.
