I'm experiencing persistent CABBAGE errors in Destiny 2 on Xbox Series X.
I can successfully:
Launch Destiny 2 and sign in.
Load my character and reach Orbit.
View destinations and navigate menus.
Create a new character.
However, whenever I attempt to enter a playable area, including the Tower or EDZ, the screen goes black and I receive repeated connection recovery messages before being returned to Orbit with error code CABBAGE.
I have completed the following troubleshooting:
Confirmed Destiny 2 servers are operational.
Confirmed Xbox NAT type is Open.
Confirmed UPnP is enabled on my ASUS RT-BE92U router.
Tested using Google DNS.
Cleared the Xbox alternate MAC address.
Temporarily disabled SIP Passthrough.
Tested using a completely separate Xbox account, with the same result.
Tested using a mobile phone hotspot instead of my NBN connection, with the same result.
Confirmed other online Xbox games work normally.
My ASUS RT-BE92U is connected directly to the NBN connection box.
Given that the issue persists across two Xbox accounts and two completely different internet connections, I would appreciate investigation into whether there is an issue with Destiny 2's connection handling or server-side session establishment.
Please advise what further diagnostic information you require.

Edited by Farreg: 11/8/2026 3:20:26 AMI remember a week ago when I posteed this, I saw all the bungie replies and I was so full of hope. Here we are, all this time later and not even a response that says "hey try this" or "give us some time to look into this". I honestly did not expect to be ignored.

Hi Team. I am still struggling with this issue.

Hi Team, there is no point in me and my squad purchasing the expansions if I can't play the game.
