I don’t want a D3

Destiny infinity is the way to go. Less outlay financially and you already have a good foundation of content to build on. Starting from scratch again is the answer. I know content creators want that and the hype that comes with it but games like Warframe and final fantasy is what Destiny should strive for. Not games like call of duty etc.

  • I definitely want a new game rather than continuing with D2 which is just absolutely bloated at this point, especially from a loot perspective. But I want everything to be new, zero carry over outside of maybe characters models (as we did going D1-D2) all new weapons, exotics, armours etc

  • I want a D3, but I just don't want bungie to do it. I don't trust them.

  • We’ve ended up where we currently are because this is the kind of approach that Bungie took with Destiny 2. Instead of leaving D2 as it was and starting afresh with Beyond Light they took the easier, quicker, cheaper option of vaulting content and continuing with Destiny 2 expansions. Once what should never have been removed is returned then it should be left as is, like Destiny was. And ‘Destiny’ should move forward to a new game (or games). With a new start. New story. New campaign. New gear. New locations. Leave the past accessible and move on with the future.

  • I'm not against getting a D3, my only 2 issues would just be the power difference and the mega reset despite us (presumably) still using the same characters we had in D1. At least once we reach the endgame, we should have comparable killing potential with our arsenal, but our arsenal should feel as good as it does now if not better. I mean if we took how good a weapon feels to use like (insert your favorite legendary weapon), I wouldn't want to use the "best" options in that weapon type in D3 if they have half the stability, 30% less AA and magnetism, have trash sights, and has significantly less range too. I want my abilities and my weapons to be as good if not better as they should be by default because we should be "stronger" in the sequel.

  • I’d be happy with D2 Infinity or D3, but I prefer the idea of D3. Clear out some of the unnecessary baggage and have a fresh start.

  • D1 fully remastered with D2 fully unvaulted all in the same space would be a W. Implement D2's subclasses (minus Prismatic) and give us a proper 3rd Darkness subclass.
