Trapped in cross save loop, 2017 characters are hidden
Hello Bungie Help, I am a legacy player who started in 2017 on PlayStation and never had a Bungie account until just recently. I tried setting up Cross Save to play on PC, but it created a fresh profile and accidentally selected the blank PC account as my primary save. Now my original high-level 2017 characters are hidden, and my PS5 is showing an empty Level 10 Guardian. The Cross Save website is bugged on my end and completely refuses to display the 'View Setup' button, so I am physically trapped and cannot deactivate Cross Save myself. Please have an administrator manually deactivate Cross Save on my profile so I can get my 2017 PlayStation characters back. Thank you.

1 ReplyIf the playstation characters are your original and you haven't played since 2017, just know there was a power reset with Edge of Fate so your old characters will still be only 10 power.

Hello! Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear you accidentally set the incorrect active platform for Cross Save. Could you please describe what happens/what is displayed when trying to access your Cross Save settings? If you can, please provide a screenshot of the error that comes up. bungie will not do anything. you have to be able to authenticate all accounts in order to activate or de-activate cross-save. as for the website, try using a different browser and/or clearing all cache, cookies and temp files. be aware, if you get cross-save deactivated so you can set it up with your ps5 account as primary, there is a mandatory 90 day wait before you can do so.
