Hello Bungie Support,
I'm experiencing a persistent BOAR error when launching Destiny 2 on PS4.
Every time I open the game, it says the expansion content appears damaged or missing and directs me to download Required Content packages 1–6.
All six packages download to 100%, and the PS4 reports that they are installed. However, when I launch Destiny 2 again, the BOAR error returns, and the PlayStation Store offers Download for all six packages again.
I've already tried:
Deleting and reinstalling Destiny 2.
Downloading all six Required Content packages.
Restoring licenses.
Fully powering off the PS4 and disconnecting the power cable.
Rebuilding the PS4 database.
Testing my internet connection; all tests succeed.
Confirming that I have approximately 400 GB of free storage.
Confirming that the purchasing account is activated as my primary PS4.
One additional detail: Required Content 1 downloaded approximately 26 GB and showed as installed in Notifications, but Destiny 2 remained at approximately 34 GB in System Storage. After launching the game, the installation notification disappeared, and the Store still offered Download for Required Content 1.
The game is digitally purchased.
Could you please help me identify why the required content packages are not being recognized or retained after installation?
Thank you.
