Heres a good idea for everyone, and the games in the near future of destiny and marathan/
i think i just nailed a good anti cheat system for destiny, (which exists on other games) let players report someone, and when the system sees enough people report one person for cheating, it creates a counsel in the lobby and allows people to vote kick that person, and when you are kicked from a lobby of voters you cant play pvp for 3-7 days *that adds up* depending on how many times a player has been reported. And if you fail all 3 strikes you get your account banned from playing game entirely, including alts.

People would constantly be reporting players just for wrecking them in Crucible all the time. Have you seen how many people in these forums think that they're constantly seeing cheaters? Granted, I play on console, but I think I've maybe seen 2 or 3 players that I thought were possibly cheating in my whole 12 years of playing. No. I think the devs should be involved in that decision, not just players.

So what happens when it’s not cheating? A network error that mimics things that could be considered cheating? Have you ever seen how fast something can be used in a way that was not intended? There would be people out there offering services to ban others. There would be 100s of posts showing the council’s decisions. Every bit of it wouid just look bad for Bungie.

oh, that will never get abused. WOW tried that in PVE and it was a disaster.

What other games have this system? As it genuinely sounds absolutely terrible
