Make a title exclusively for cheaters/hackers
If a player is caught cheating, they should be branded with a permanent title. As for what the title should be…idk.
Think about it:
Not only would it make finding repeat offenders easier, it would also be noticeable in PVP.
You’re playing and then someone shoots you through the wall:
“Htf is this guy-(notices the title) oh, that explains it.”

Bungie should secretly move the cheaters to a separate server that gives no rewards so they can cheat each other while getting cheated.

Lame Lord Hopeless Verified cheater Any cheater should get added to a cheater only pool, for everything.....pvp gambit. They can't join lfg or add friends.... No sparrow or skimmer access.....and the architects are even harsher for cheaters.....fall death is added back..... For pve, they can join public areas, and once loaded in, all the cheater will hear is npcs calling them a cheater, and laughter 😃 Other players also get tomatoes to throw at them, similar to the snowball mechanic, but it makes their screen turn red, a bit like a thorn effect.....but more messy

Interesting.... A dunce hat holochip you can't remove.... But not visible to other players?... A de buff that hyper nerfs drops and exp for a span of Time... With the added bonus of every match of PVP counts as a loss regardless if you win or quit... And sticks them into a cheat lobby until the suspension is up.... It's doable... Post...

There was a game a few years back that changed their perspective on what they were seeing during gameplay if they had been caught cheating. I would love Bungie to do this.

Would lead to players harassing that person en masse. Weird, to consider the need to protect a cheater. They 100% deserve repercussions for what they did. But it’s not the medieval times where we just put someone in a pillory in the market square and throw things at them. Bungie would get sued out the butt for “branding” players and making them a target, instead of dealing with them quietly
