Literally all bungie needs to do is email Battleye and say "hey turn on Linux support" and that's all that would need to be done.
Battleye has had proton compatibility for YEARS. If bungie doesn't support Linux once everything is unvaulted, I am going to be SO very mildly disappointed.

Edited by Shark_Shank: 9/26/2026 12:16:25 AMDoes Battleye also reconfig Bungies in house anticheat? Train their support staff? Create support articles for linux? Train their security team? Pay for the additional QA testing for patches and updates (and content hopefully)? look at what is really needed beyond wherever you all get this email, flip switch talking point it would be great. They didnt support Linux for all of D2 and didnt add it for Marathon... prepare thy self for dispointment. All they have committed to thus far is unvaulting, they have said nothing about making it live service again, nor made any comments as to updating/changing the game as is.
