Wrongfully Banned!
Earlier in the year my whole pc was compromised my Email, Steam anything tied to my email was stolen from me after a long couple of weeks i managed to get everything back and all was fine. This was in Feb/March time. So about 3 months ago June Time i was perma banned from Destiny 2, which i thought was odd as i havnt played since Final Shape, i noticed on tracker.gg that someone had played alot of crucible on my account, my bungie name was changed. im just connecting the dots but im 99% sure its to do with my account being hacked earlier as mentioned, i wrote a very Shakey and paranoid ban appeal to bungie 3 months ago, and i havnt even had a single reply. ive messaged them at least 3 or 4 times. I must say im quite disappointed, ive supported this game through thick and thin, spent more money than i care to admit and im not even worth a reply or explanation. i even have emails from Microsoft and Steam confirming that my account was hacked? although i havnt played in a long time its sad to know i could never com back. what should i do ?

3 RepliesHey there, the forum is unable to assist with ban appeals other than to direct you to the ban appeal form ( https://safety.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/42349301189524-Contact-Form-Appeal-Ban-or-Restriction ) which you mentioned you've already filled out. Bungie will not typically respond unless they intend to overturn the ban or require further information. If 4-6 weeks go by without either happening, it can be assumed the ban is being upheld. That sounds like what has happened in this case. Only one appeal is allowed, additional appeals are ignored. Unfortunately if nothing came from your first appeal there is not much else you can do. The ban was manually applied, the appeal was manually reviewed and Bungie has chosen to take no further action.

Bungie do not guarantee any responses and in most cases you won't get one unless they want more information from you or the ban has been lifted. Your ticker has likely been left open as well which doesn't mean it hasn't been denied but is something they use to catch multiple submissions. Also any future ban appeal submissions you make will be ignored by Bungie.
