Wanted to suggest this a while back, but never posted it before eos announcement. Now that they have re-committed i hope this idea exists internally or gets boosted or mentioned by someone else. Might be too complicated for d2 and be an idea for d3. The idea is "Race based new light campaign." Awoken: found by your ghost drifting among wreckage in the tangled shore. Have to traverse to Vestian Outpost or dreaming city. Exo: ghost finds you in a Braytech/Seraph orbital facility. Have to launch an escape pod to return to earth or europa. Human: idk, something cool. Maybe found in vog..? imo this adds more individual identity to created characters, so everyone isn't "John Destiny, Slayer of Oryx." Also, creates a (somewhat) unique (1of3) experience for each new light.
