Catalyst Drop PSA
Old news, but might be helpful to some.
If you're trying to get new Catty's to drop, don't have a multitude of ones incomplete.
I hadn't had a new drop in a hot minute. Did 4 last week and within two clears of a Vanguard activity had a new one.
Been churning them out in my downtime, generally via Distortions. Still chasing Lament, Bastion and Truth's Cattys.

For me target farming orders for the legendary orders bar to fill and have a chance to get an exotic order from the legendary orders completion is the best way to do it I found. Find the content you enjoy playing, for me I ran trials since it was fast and helped fill the legendary orders bar up fairly quick after match completion and orders completed during the grind. For me personally this is how I managed to get every catalyst in game collected, keep in mind that when MoT dropped I only needed the 28 new catalyst that came with the update. Ran for the raid specific catalyst first as my priority, then on weekends did the trials grind, by July 4th I had everything collected and finished. Keep in mind you can earn these anywhere in the system and content you enjoy the most, efficiency for me is the most important and how I obtained em all is by target farming those legendary orders.
