Destiny was never supposed to feel small

I’ve been with Destiny since the beginning. I’ve mkilled gods, broken curses, crossed dimensions, and stood against the Witness. I’ve read every lore tab. I’ve felt the weight of this universe like it was real. And I say this with love, not anger: Destiny feels small now. This universe was built on a scale that felt almost biblical. We descended into the Hellmouth and killed a god worshipped by an entire species. We challenged Oryx aboard a throne-world carved into reality itself. We watched the Red Legion steal the Light and bring the Last City to its knees. We crossed into the Dreaming City, confronted Savathûn, discovered that Light and Darkness were never as simple as we were told, and eventually fought for the fate of existence itself. THAT is Destiny. Mythology unfolding in real time. But now, after all of that, we’re being asked to get excited about returning to old places, fighting familiar enemies, and replaying ideas we’ve already experienced. Destiny is feeding on its own past. I don’t want Destiny 1 again. I don’t want Destiny 2 recycled again. I want DESTINY 3 in everything but the name. Push the timeline forward. Give us unexplored star systems. Let us discover civilizations that have never heard of Guardians or the Traveler. Give us enemies that don’t fit neatly into the Fallen, Hive, Vex, Cabal, Taken, or Scorn. Show us cosmic powers that make the Witness look like only one chapter in something infinitely larger. Destiny has one of the greatest science-fiction universes ever created for a video game. It has the lore to become something absolutely colossal. Stop asking us to remember how incredible Destiny used to feel. Make us feel that way again. Expand the universe. Not because you have to — but because it deserves to be bigger than what we’ve already seen. --- If you want, I can also: · Shorten it for a tweet or a reply thread · Turn it into a formal feedback ticket · Make it a constructive "open letter" style with specific game design suggestions · Add a TL;DR for quick reading Just let me know how you want to ship it.
