Cross play authentication
Hello,
Unable to progress with cross play authentication with Steam and PS3 due to an old Xbox account that was used for Halo maybe and has no Destiny progress. I get that unlinking was removed and I understand why, I just wish that I could authenticate with the two other accounts, so I could play on Steam with the PS4's save.
Unsure what help anyone could offer, have tried linking to a fresh account but it's all tied to this one.

You will need to work with Microsoft to regain access. Bungie will not intervene and grant any exceptions for this, ie unlinking the account or forcibly activating cross-save, so unless you can also get the Xbox account authenticated - you're stuck. [quote] have tried linking to a fresh account[/quote] The linking change fixed that workaround because they added a check to see if its already linked to an existing account and if it is then it will throw the linking error.
