Trying to do VoG, joined like 5+ FT. Got 6 of 6 and sat there for 15-30 minutes at least. Also, none uses VC to communicate. I guess that’s what you expect from a dead game.

They had a good thing with the old legacy fireteam on the app other than the bots selling carries. You could make fully custom titles and it was so much easier to use than this garbage fireteam finder we have now.
-
Did you try to join in game fire team? I noticed the other day, people just sit there and don't talk, most of the time I start the raid when we get 5, just a thought idk

It's a lot easier to get full teams on featured raids. Only going to get worse going forward.

A problem I have seen with Fireteam Finder is that some folks will hop into the host's session before the "Fireteam" gets summoned. With folks joining and leaving the Fireteam Finder post you can end up in a situation where the host has a full session but their "Fireteam" still has a vacant slot. Some poor schmuck joins the "Fireteam" expecting an invite, meanwhile the host is already in the activity with a full session. In the future, inspect the host once you've joined the "Fireteam" and see if there are extra names in the host's session that don't match the "Fireteam". That's a good sign shenanigans are afoot.

I feel ya but the solution is to make your own post and set the parameters as you see fit. You can start by setting it to "mic required" and then asking each person who joins to verify they have a mic before you start. No mic, then boot.

Edited by TheLastBlackKnight: 8/24/2026 5:26:03 PMNo actually it is perfectly fine for the most part, you also don’t need a mic for Vog. Even if I do use one when I need to. The worst part of it is they removed custom titles

You’re better off using the lfg discord or the Xbox lfg if you play on Xbox. There’s still enough people that you’ll have no issue finding a raid team.

2 RepliesIt was like this from the start. Takes 30 minutes to assemble a team. Nobody talks despite requesting a mic. Queue in and nobody knows what to do. Wipe twice and everyone rage quits. Back to FTF for +30 minutes. I never experienced anything less than that trying to assemble 5 in FTF. Had plenty of success using XBL LFG tho......
