Gunsmith requiring 3 engrams is beyond lame.
I guess you can do chests and Lost Sectors, but when I just want to roll through a bunch of garbage to get these very limited godroll variants it becomes way more than a hassle.
A lot of the weapons only function on godrolls, many of them off-meta or lower, and it feels like to me 3 engrams is absurd. 1 would have been sufficient considering I need like 20 rolls just to get a 4 star variant. Anybody else feel this should have been tuned like Vanguard was? Really sucks to be left with it like this. I was just trying to get an MG for Arc in Crucible, and it feels like it's going to take a while just for one gun.

1 ReplyI agree l, 3 is a bit much. I spend all mine on Ahab Char... Check out ... oh my... brain fart... Season of Plunder MG, fast handling, fast shooting.. craftable. It's on the tip of my tongue.. I'll remember the name after I hit the enter button.. lol. But I personally love it for hip firing and CQC

2 RepliesIf you’re looking for a fast firing arc machine gun then the one from Renegades is a good option. The gambit one also. Both might be easier farms.

2 RepliesUnless there is a specific reason why you are wanting the Watchful Eye LMG outside of it being Arc, A Fine Memorial can be farmed via the Essence of Greed quest from the Lectern of Enchantment on the Moon. There is also the Seventh Seraph SAW LMG that can drop in the Cosmodrome. I do agree that the 3 engrams (plus 15K Glimmer) is a tad bit expensive, but then again the Gunsmith engrams do drop fairly often from destination chests and resource nodes. Skywatch in the Cosmodrome is a good location to farm those engrams given how many chests and Spinmetal nodes spawn.
