We need a way to report people who leave games
Everyone's been through it. You go into either competitive or trials and get paired up with the worst players ever. Then when you start losing, because they are nothing but death fodder, they leave and make you worse off. I'm not great at this game, but at least I never leave a game because we started losing. Sadly there's no way to report them for rage quitting in game because their name is removed from your fire team roster afterwards. All they get is a wimpy little quitter penalty while you fight a 2v3. Willing to bet that they make a habit of quitting because they stink at the game. Why can't people like that just stick to PvE and stop ruining the game for other people?

As you mentioned, leaving games is discouraged and there are escalating suspensions against players who leave multiple games in a short period that stop them from being able to play PvP activities until their suspension lifts. Players who habitually leave matches may receive stronger punishments, according to Bungie's policies. If you wish to report a player for griefing or other bad behavior, you can do so using the in-game report feature and choose from the options under "Bad Behavior".
