I'll have the sights trained on someone's dome, pull the trigger and its a body shot. Alright I pull the reticle up higher...and it whiffs. Then I'll whip it and score a random headshot when I'm barely aiming.
Is this normal? How do you use this thing?

1 ReplyToo bad it doesn’t play like Hand Cannons so you could miss by 5 feet and still count as a headshot.

1 ReplyI find that’s how guns are in d2, on console controller anyway. aim assist only kicks in if you are moving, it’s way easier to hit headshots while strafing back and forth slightly or whipping your retical across someone’s head, pulling the trigger when you feel the sticky “retical friction” slowing the retical down for that split second. This is how the “accessibility devices”(who’s names we dare not speak)give you soft aimbot, they passively jiggle the retical at all times, enough so that you always have max aim assist even when standing dead still. Snipers are the worst. I have placed the retical directly over an afk players head and missed due to random accuracy. I have also whipped around with a sniper and hit headshots when I was nowhere near the head. I once shot between two players (due to aim assist dragging the gun away from the player I was trying to hit) and headshot them both with one shot.
