Repeated CENTIPEDE, CURRANT and WEASEL errors – Xbox – multiple networks
Hi
I’m having persistent connection issues with Destiny 2 on Xbox. The game repeatedly shows the “Attention: Connecting to Destiny 2 servers” message, which appears and disappears repeatedly while I’m playing.
I frequently receive CENTIPEDE, CURRANT and WEASEL errors. I also regularly have trouble loading into destinations on the first attempt, including the Tower, open-world destinations and missions.
I’ve tested my connection extensively and my Xbox network statistics are:
* Download: 96.93 Mbps
* Upload: 90.45 Mbps
* Latency: 26 ms
* Packet loss: 0%
* Wireless strength: 100%
* MTU: 1480
* NAT: Open
* UPnP: Enabled
* Xbox multiplayer connection test: “It’s all good”
The most important part is that this happens on two completely separate internet connections. I have tested my normal Wi-Fi as well as a mobile hotspot from my phone, and the same Destiny 2 problems occur on both.
The connection warning can repeatedly appear and disappear even when I’m already inside the Tower or an open-world destination.
Because the Xbox network tests are clean and the issue persists across two unrelated networks, I’m wondering whether this could be related to the route/peering between Italian networks and Bungie’s services.
I’ve seen recent reports from other players experiencing CENTIPEDE/CURRANT/WEASEL issues, including reports from Italy and Europe. Could you please investigate whether this is a known regional connectivity issue or something affecting my Destiny account/session specifically?
I’m happy to provide any additional information or troubleshooting results you need.
Thank you.
