Implementing a permanent filter with the exception of slurs is a top 10 worst nuisances I have ever seen encouraged in any scenario that has nothing to do with keeping little innocent timmy happy in the no cursing classroom. And as if it wasn't enough to piss off anyone trying to use common language in a game that already targets an age rating where bad language is irrelevant to anyone who isn't a sensitive pansy, the filter has gotten so bad that I can't even use random words like "diabolical" or "about" just to name a few in the sea of absolute nonsense.
I literally have trouble typing out regular sentences that don't even hint at a curse word and it's unbearable when a filter should only be optional for the weak minded people that can't handle letters on a screen. The filter should have always been purely optional. If you're not grown enough to be able to turn on a filter for yourself and then you complain about seeing bad words, you got bigger fish to fry. Censorship SUCKS and you don't hate it enough.
If the state of the team is so bad we can only disable and remove, it would be nice to add the filter to the list of things to obliterate.
