I looked up my previous guys, and they were .2 and .6 KD's in Trials. The other team was sweats or decent. This has gone on for about 4 games in a row, and that's about that. Ain't got no more time for the garbage. The fact that the .2 garbolord wasn't even that far below my win percentage makes me sick. I feel like most decent people agree the game has kind of gone off rails competitively. I was never a fan of Trials. I have a hard time understanding how anybody ever was considering the entire setup and gated loot from years past was notoriously idiotic in every way possible. It took Bungie a decade just to get a decent Trials structure going LMFAO. I started playing a bit more about a year+ ago, and then I picked the game up again after the last big patch with a big gap in between. I'm doing very decently in PvP, enough to carry some teams in Control and play off-meta loadouts with success all day. But after the population has dipped here, Lord Jesus! Iron Banner and now Trials have become a cesspool of imbalanced matches win or lose. I went flawless last week, something I have never even done legitimately in my small amount of time solo. I won't even attempt doing such a thing with Bannerfall in there almost every match I play this week. The three map rotation with one awful map getting tons of play each week is not only a terrible idea, it should have been reverted before they left. It's just another decrepit and dumb decision we have to live with. I don't even care what you are as long as you are not perma-dead within 5 seconds of a round starting leaving me to face three people. I'm just an above average or average player solo, considering this is mostly sweats now, dictated by teams and anchors like most above average or average players. With premades my KD goes so high it's not even fun playing. Solo's it's all over the place depending on the anchors of the team. I can't handle cheating uber sweats 2v1 unless I get lucky and not many people at all can handle 3v1 against a good team. I just back out of these games now. No point in playing. I think people need to realize how incompetent Bungie was at PvP and their overall direction with the game. I've honestly never seen worse matchmaking than this game in any other shooter I have played, though, Apex gives it a run. It's comical how you are basically just assigned auto-losses in this game. More and more it feels like they have a straight-up engagement algorithm going on here like Apex where you just fight and fight and they want you grinding all day. The fact is people said no to this long ago and everyone quit. Population is also starting to thin out, but dear god Crucible is full of so many random new players these days. I don't expect much in Trials. Just a .7 player or above really or at least matched to balanced teams. .2 KD is starting to get to the point that a grandma could be better, and I see .2 KDA's in Control quite often. I seriously don't understand how it's even possible with assists added in. Fact is this game has some horrific matchmaking that makes playing the game a huge chore at times. What could have been if this team was actually legit and didn't make every bad decision possible to ruin it. Feels like the core experience here is still top-tier even after all this time. Just bludgeoned to death by its matchmaking and lack of balance along with some comically bad map design in places.
