Overturn a False Report
Hello Support Team,
I am writing to appeal a penalty/warning placed on my account. Following a recent competitive match loss, a frustrated teammate stated they were falsely reporting me.
I did not violate the code of conduct during this match. I played the game out to the best of my ability, did not engage in toxic chat, and did not intentionally disrupt the game. This report was purely retaliatory because we lost.
Could you please review the chat logs and gameplay data for my recent matches? You will see that the report is baseless. Thank you for your time and for helping keep the system fair.

Hi there. Adding to what BNGHelp10 has provided, reporting a player only flags the person to Bungie's attention to review. Being reported does not automatically trigger a restriction or ban. Bungie only acts on reports if they find what was reported to be valid during their investigation. False reports are disregarded.
