Can someone explain what the point of this whole DLC is besides teaching Strand subclass and setting up the final shape dlc,
The city is amazing but the end I g of this DLC is infuriating you fight so hard just to fail in the end anyway

The witness playing us perfectly in order to get to the veil and use it to enter the traveller. Either callus gets it giving the witness what it wants or we stop callus and put our ghost in the perfect position to make the link which we would have to kill our ghost to stop thus taking a piece of the board. The witness created the perfect trap for us.

Moolah. It's a pretty popular belief that strand was supposed to be in Witch Queen, and they didn't feel like making an actual city. Just throw everyone in the CloudArk and you don't need to make any characters.

Wild theory: Its meant to warm you up to the idea of a futuristic city in space where all the people have uploaded their conciseness to the internet. The Veil is basically iCloud, but implemented by the Neomuna government, human bodies produce too many CO2 emissions or whatever. Ever notice the random announcements by Jisu Calerondo in the Zephyr concourse, like state propaganda blaring through the loudspeakers ? Creepy AF... We cant let that happen on Earth... dont go into the pod... dont let them feed you the microchip... must ..... resist ..... nooooooooo ...........

Strand and Deterministic Chaos was about the beginning and end of it really. I do like the area when I don't have to interact with characters like Nimbus or Osiris though.
