Lamente catalyst PSA
I'm sure many already know this, but the in game indication that the catalyst drops from dungeons and raids is wrong.
Last night I was doing some random triumphs and in a solo activity, on normal, K1, a mob in the last boss room dropped the catalyst for me.
So it probably drops from any Vanguard activity.

I believe most if not all the new catalysts have a chance of dropping anywhere. I've gotten most of the new catalysts through mini bosses and some mobs in certain activities. Maybe there wasn't enough time or space to write how they dropped, so they just made it simple by saying go to ops or crucible or dungeon/raid. I've gotten some dungeon/raid cats through through the exotic order in the seasonal hub.
