As the title suggests: let me remind you how to do dual destiny, particularly the clock encounter with the tormentor and killing a bunch of ads in the process: you call out the nodes that are LIT UP. NOT the ones that are NOT lit up. Let me give an example. If the nodes that are lit up are 987654, and the other person has 134795, the nodes that need to be shot are 457. I don’t understand how it’s that hard of a concept to grasp. Had one random tell me: “you call the ones that are not lit up” like come on. No. That’s not how it works. (Hence, my explanation earlier above)
So please, call out the nodes that are lit up, and figure out the common numbers to shoot from there. Not that hard. DO NOT call out the ones that are not lit up. Cuz that will confuse people. Not many people have done it like that. So yeah. Read it like a clock. Please.

2 RepliesHard no, it is far simpler to use an elimination strategy (not lit) than to use a matching strategy (lit). As an example both players are destroying adds and attacking the boss. Boss dies, then the player who does not have the buff says the three switches that are not lit up for them (naming scheme doesn't matter as long as they understand each other) and the person with the buff shoots the lit ones the other player did not say. Essentially, the ones that are not lit will always be the incorrect lit ones to shoot for the person who has the buff. Less information to communicate and disseminate will create greater efficiency as long as you are open to trying different processes
Bro writes a whole rant to insult other ppl, then gets his own example wrong. Player A : 987654 Player B : 9 7 543 1 The common numbers are 9,7,5,4 ... FOUR numbers , when there are only supposed to be three. Plz dont take any advice from this guy. If anyone needs help with this mission, feel free to add me.

particularly the clock encounter with the tormentor and killing a bunch of ads
For clarification : this is NOT the clock encounter. The clocks are at the end of the mission. Clocks have 12 numbers & are read, well... clockwise. For the clocks encounter, both players definitely read off the nodes that are lit & both players shoot the ONE node they have in common. The encounter with the tormentor that gives you a buff... is not a clock. Its nine nodes that are read from left to right. Only the person with the buff can shoot the nodes, so its up to them how they want the non-buff person to call out what they see. I personally agree with OP, thats its easier (for me) to hear the numbers that are lit, but I recognize that calling whats not lit works for other ppl. Just wanted to clarify for ppl who may be new to the mission. It has a reputation for being a terrible mission, but its not that bad. I enjoy running it.

Lots of ways to count to 10 👍

Shouldn't matter as long as both players understand what they're calling out

2 RepliesYou just need to find A way, not your way. I do it where I tell the ones not lit up for me, then my teammate says theirs, then the one with the buff shoots the ones that are lit for both of us.

It doesn’t matter if you and your partner are in agreement as the encounter starts.
