epic games cross save not working
i recently bought 7000 silver through my epic games account and added it correctly through cross save but whenever i login through it none of my guardians are there for me to use. It says everything is linked and correct and my steam account is active for cross save. I have tested this on xbox and steam they both work fine with the cross save but when i use epicgames launcher it does not add my guardians. How do i fix this. The account is right and everything no errors literally just wont work how do i get it to work so i can use my silver bungie?

While we realize you seem to be signing in with the correct account, if you aren't seeing your characters, then this may indicate you're not using the Epic Games account linked to your Cross Save. 3 RepliesEdited by EckyThump: 7/22/2026 10:39:21 PMHey there. Silver gets tied to two things, one is the platform it was purchased on, and second is the active game profile at the time of purchase. If cross-save is activated and another platform is made Active (or the account is added as a dormant account to an existing setup), then the Silver balance will not be available - even if you play on the platform it was purchased on, the Active game profile is different, and the Silver will not show. I know that is not what you are asking, but it is still important to mention, because if you did it in the order you mentioned - bought the Silver on Epic Games first, and then added it to a Cross-save setup where Steam is the Active character set - there was NEVER any way to make that 7,000 Silver usable on those Steam characters. So even if this particular bug had not arisen, the Silver would be stuck in an unusable limbo. Even if the Steam characters appeared on Epic, even if that part can be fixed, the Silver balance would not show that 7000 on those Steam characters. (If you'd cross-saved first and then bought the Silver on Epic, the Silver would be tied to the Epic Games platform and the Steam characters. It would appear on the Steam characters while playing on the Epic Games launcher)
