I’m currently on my yearly rewatch, on season two. Man I just love this show. Season one does take a wee bit to get going, especially because there’s a lot of filler, but once you hit season two?? It’s all bangers. Even the filler. Well maybe not Avatar Day… And yes, I still cry during ‘Leaves On the Vine” as any grown adult should. Knowing that Mako was actually crying while recording the song because he was moved by the music and coming to terms with the fact he was dying just makes it THAT much more emotional. I’m excited to see the new movie, and the new series, though I wish we had gotten more Korra, I feel like her story wasn’t as complete as Aang’s was. Still holding out hope for that rumored Korra movie.
