I never thought it would happen -- much like me being a fan of black metal, or being in a relationship, but I have come to enjoy the occasional brew, usually with a nice meal though, not just by itself. Not any of that piss water sold in every gas station or mini mart across America though. So far, I'm liking Lindemans lambic beer, any flavor, but peach in particular is 🤌🏽, Golden Road Mango Cart, Karl Strauss Red Trolley Ale (not a beer but they also have an orange soda hard seltzer that is absolutely delicious) not really a fan of IPAs but Societe Bulbous Flowers Hazy IPA is nice.
My current favorite though is easily Duchesse Chocolate Cherry. There was also something I had at a Stone Brewing restaurant that was stupidly good, but I can't remember which one it was. What's your go to? Any recommendations based on what I've listed?

It depends. People rave over spotted cow but it just tastes eh to me. I’m more preferential to summer shandy

Beer , it's the ultimate piss starter

3 RepliesI hate beer. The one that I had was nasty. Now it probably wasn't a good one since I mistakenly got it from a vending machine. But I don't think having a good one will change my opinion much.

Beer is good. Alcohol is bad though, any kind, so I stopped but I liked beer especially in summer.

6 RepliesEdited by BudweiZur: 7/17/2026 8:08:02 PMI've had 1-2 beers every night before bed for nigh on 40 years, sleep like a log, zero health issues, extremely healthy. Don't fear the beer. Current go-to's are mcewans champion (7.3%) abbot reserve (6.5%) & if they're out I'll nab some old crafty hen (6.5%). West Indian guiness & -Guinness foreign extra stout are stronger (6% & 7.5%) are very nice but hard to get from genuine sources that are made with west Indian & African water, they have a UK brewery but it's not as good & not quite as good as the 3 above. Anything under 6% isnt worth opening, unless you're planning on having 10 pints, then kronenburg 1664 is 5% and streets ahead of all the other garbage.

2 RepliesBeer and Pizza is a justified combo

4 RepliesI love stout beer, the most known would be Guinness beer. If you go with Microbrewery, they usually have their own stout beer.

Guinness + Satyricon = a good time

1 ReplyDelirium Red. Very similar to Lindemans raspberry lambic, but I like it more because Lindemans has kind of a weird aftertaste.
