Better still ban the console or (pc by motherboard hardware, doing so they'd have to buy a new motherboard and windows 11 if it's an oem version, because it's tied to the motherboard, they'd have to reinstall everything lol. You can only have oem versions tied to one pc, you can't use it again, retail you can, you just install on another pc and active licence on the new pc, and it deactivates it on the other.

Not going to happen when the game is indefinitely put into maintenance mode. Unless it actually becomes illegal to cheat in a game like I've been hearing is in the process of becoming so, they won't be charged financially or otherwise even though they should. * The more they cheat, the fewer people willing to play a game. Fewer players means lost profits * If the cheater is profiting off of it such as paid carries, they can definitely be sued for it since they were violating the TOS to earn those profits * And in cases where multiple players get banned because they were with the cheater, that's also lost profits because "innocent" players aren't likely to return unless the ban is lifted The problem here in destiny is they don't ban IPs or the entire console/ PC, only the account. And with this being F2P, a cheater being banned isn't really a consequence because they can just make a new account. No matter how bad the security team is or how bad the anti cheat is, a cheater problem will always be less of one if they have to repurchase a game every time.
