I haven’t played in a long time, so forgive me if there’s no answer to this or if there’s already been a resounding one.
I used to have two accounts before Cross Save was introduced. My first was the one I used during the early days of Destiny 2’s release on PS4. It also carried over my history from Destiny 1, and had the emblems to boot.
However, when Destiny 2 came to PC, I had created a new character there after not having played since Warmind released. It would’ve been around the time of Season of Undying.
Then, when Cross Save came around, I was under the false impression that the historical emblems (the ones granted for playing Destiny 1 prior to Destiny 2’s initial release) would merge with my account, but after trying everything, they never did. I had hoped that it would detect the save data from my old Destiny 1 characters and port them over, but to no avail.
I just want to know if by some miracle I can have those emblems back. I believe they were “Saladin’s Pride” and “Young Wolf”. Not sure if I qualified for the Taken King one as well, “Slayer of Oryx” I think it was?

Edited by BNGHelp3: 7/12/2026 9:47:59 PMThey are unlocked on the progression data for your Playstation account but will not be accessible because you have made it dormant due to setting Steam as your active profile for cross-save. There is no route for having both the emblems and Steam as your active profile for cross-save because the emblems were granted to the Destiny 2 account specifically tied to the platform rather than the Bungie profile. You basically have to pick which one you want between: - Access to the emblems on PSN but no access to your Steam characters there - you'll also be breaking your /join and /invite commands, or - Steam characters on all platforms but no access to the emblems. You can see they are still unlocked via Bray.tech - https://bray.tech/2/4611686018463175283/2305843009279347275/collections/node/3066887728/2381001021/1166184619 As for this bit:
Then, when Cross Save came around, I was under the false impression that the historical emblems (the ones granted for playing Destiny 1 prior to Destiny 2’s initial release) would merge with my account, but after trying everything, they never did.
Can I use Cross Save to merge Guardians or Collections on different platforms? No. Cross Save will enable you to link accounts you use to play games on separate platforms and then designate one of them as your Active Account. From that point forward, the Guardians on that account will the characters you use to play on all linked platforms. We built the feature envisioning this as a decision you will make once.
https://www.bungie.net/7/en/CrossSave
