so last night me and my buddy were playing and we jokingly opened VOG and when we loaded in it gave me one of the starting quests that has you talk with shaw han and it reset my guardian rank from 6 (i just leveled up in the tower) to 2, no idea why this happened but now it wants me to do all the stuff from rank2 to 6 again. and as another thing i randomly lost the renegades quest on the step that needed me to get to rep 3 with the syndicates
