Was pvp ever good in this game? Because especially when IB rolls around and brings all the cheaters and complete tryhards who play in a way that's no better than cheating, I can't understand how anyone can enjoy the pvp unless THEY are the ones doing the b*******. When it's not constantly getting spawn killed so frequently there would be ZERO negative consequences to spawn invincibility for 5-10 seconds (and getting spawn killed that frequently would be written off as spawn manipulation which believe it or not is considered griefing and cheating depending on how it's achieved or how bad it gets), it's cowards who can't win fights on their own without a OHK crutch or surviving the impossible over and over again. Otherwise it's people with sketchy AF movement like they're A+D spamming in a game like Overwatch (has no movement acceleration, so strafing is as fast as you can push the button/ tilt the stick), constantly slide shooting multiple times per gun fight with perfect accuracy yet you never even see them turn or start sprinting but this never works for you because you need to sprint for like 0.5 seconds or you'll crouch instead. Yeah, I've been here since the D1 beta, I think I can recognize when it's lag, cheats, skill, or "skill" because really it's who can play more cheaply than the other that determines who's "better". I think I know better than most what is and isn't possible on a controller, with what weapons and what abilities at what ranges. And if someone shouldn't have survived like I had yesterday a guy survive 2 head shots from Mythoclast alt fire, yeah, I'm going to call hacks when that same loser somehow kills me from over 20 meters away with a sidearm that has an effective range of 15 tops. Or some people today consistently outgunning a Lethal Abundance with Target Lock while they're under the effects of Slice. With how bad the pvp is, it's truly amazing how bungie thought it was a good idea to lock anything behind pvp and not provide alternatives to their acquisition because as a 1.84 kd player this season, the gear is the only thing that makes it worth going into. And even that isn't much when attunement doesn't work right or the items that drop never have the rolls you want.

Cheaters aside PVP has always been in a rough spot. There are many weapons/archetypes, perks, mods, exotic armor and abilities to properly balance crucible.

Bungie made ONE BIG mistake: no dedicated servers.

D2 PvP is awful full stop,theres way too much screen clutter & light polution. D1 was peak PvP...D2 is just bollox but im forced into it if I want certain things.

Trials felt different connection wise, a bad connection match of trials is like a good connection match of 6’s. In IB you have to predict where the person is going to be and almost pre fire because if you wait there is a lag. Not much we can do about it, it is what it is at this point.

Wow folks! It’s already dead. Any time PlayStation takes a game over it’s done for. Also check out the good bye post from Bungie to all the staff they had to let go. Bungie never gave a -blam!- a cheating bags of dung why would PlayStation. PVP HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE HOME OF CHEATS AND LOSERS IT WILL BE MUCH WORSE NOW THAT THERES NO ONE POLICING THE GAME.

It's not about your connection it's more about who you're connecting too, you're gonna have bad experiences with some players regardless of if you've 5mg or 5gb speed. Once you realise there's nothing you can do, it gets better

Through walls? I can give you reason. You probably face pc players, it happen sometime. If you have Xbox or psn consoles as solo run or team (no PCs) then you will fine cuz you won’t face PC user on pvp. Or Someone using weapons with perk called RICOCHET ROUNDS, it bounces walls (probably two bounces) that can happen by enemy lucky to hit you.
