cross proggession bugged
Sorry if this is a copy.
I've been trying to cross prog my xbox characters to epic games. But i can't do that because in order to auth I have to also auth my steam account. The issue with this is my steam account is linked to another bungie account of its own so it just says "The account you attempted to verify is not linked to your currently logged in account. Please try again with your linked account for this platform." Is there anything that could be done?

1 ReplyHey there, a Steam account can only be linked to a single Bungie Account at a time. If you're trying to authenticate a linked Steam account with a certain set of credentials, and it is giving that message, it means it's a different Steam account to the one those credentials are for. You MAY have added Steam using the Steam registered email address and Steam password, which is actually a different profile to when you use your Steam login name and Steam password. If you wanted to play on that Steam account then you might be out of luck, but if your main goal is to play on Epic, try authenticating Steam using its email + Steam password and see if that works? Otherwise it is a completely different account.
