With the June 9th Update, things seemed to get realigned in a healthy way. And I know there was potential for more goodness to come.
Shutting down Destiny in order to prioritize Marathon has really split your community.
By bringing both back, you'd have your community playing both games. Instead of fighting between eachother.
Shutting down Destiny, when we had heard in the December 2025 Renegades Developer Livestream that there was still years of content and story to play, was one of the dumbest moves I have ever seen.
Why not continue Destiny one more year at least, and see if you can get both Destiny AND Marathon playercounts up. Instead of killing the more popular game where Guardians work together, in exchange for a game that actively only pits the community against eachother as Runners. Especially the toxic Arachne cultists in that community.

2 RepliesDestiny 2 file size takes too much space; Playstation probably wants players to buy and play a whole bunch of new games and when finished, buy new ones and uninstall the old ones. Now that Playstation has announced P6 has no Disc Drive, storage is going be paramount. Bungie servers could shut down around 2028 so that we have to move on and support their churning of games model.

5 RepliesBecause the team doesn't exist anymore, there's no one working on it and they aren't spending any more money on it.

1 ReplyWrong place, you gotta go to Sony's twitter to ask that question. Bungos got no control.
