Centipede means the game lost its connection to Destiny services during the login flow, so if you are hitting it before you can even get in, that does sound like a real server/connection-path issue rather than normal gameplay behavior. If a lot of other players are reporting problems at the same time, that would also point away from this being just your setup. Thanks for calling it out.
