DUALITY DUNGEON LOOT WEIGHTING AND BROKEN LOOT TABLE. DO NOT FARM

First off this is not RNG. We spend over 3 hours in duality and each encounter was weighted towards a player in different ways. I got five bonds back to back to back to back to back. The odds of that are astronomical. I got legs and helmets non-stop for a while which aren't even a part of that encounters loot pool To put it in perspective. On my warlock after 20 runs I got all armor. Every single armor piece in the game including armor that's not even part of that loot table and no guns. Same thing happened to my clanmate. Complete waste of time. Armor that's dropping at that chest should not be there. I have 2 hours of video proof but it doesn't even matter because it'll never get fixed so everybody. Please stay away from duality if you're looking for weapons or to grind for weapons because it seems to be broken. I have farmed duality in the past years ago and it was nothing like this. It seems that patches and updates have broken the loot table.

Exactly why I hated farming dungeons before Equilibrium. If there's 4-5 weapons and 5 armor pieces as always, each available weapon or armor for the encounter should be evenly split and add up to 50% chance of one or the other. 9-10 items. Each item should be around 10-11% of getting a specific one. But since weapons are often outnumbered by armor, the drops should be adjusted accordingly. So unless everything is weighted heavily to one side or the other, it should be statistically impossible for something like what I had one time to get armor NINETEEN TIMES IN A ROW as the record so far. If the gear is weighted to be 50% armor and 50% weapon as it should be, the probability is low enough to write off as impossible. You are statistically more likely to get the exact roll you want for the weapon you're grinding than you are to actually get the weapon. More so now that the weapons can drop extra perks. There is no world that would make sense and why I say they ruined dungeon grinding. We have for as long as the game has been out been able to focus, craft and/ or reliably target farm literally everything else in the game. But for some reason dungeons before Equilibrium are still the sole exception to that and the closest to an explanation anyone could give would immediately contradict itself multiple times over.

  • I think something is going on with armor in general. When focusing Exotic Engrams earlier today, I got the same 3 exact rolls, including tuning slot, in a row. When I finally got something different, the next one after was a duplicate of that different one. Meaning of the 5 different focuses I did, I got 2 sets of identical stats + tuning rolls. That's just not expected to happen in a truly random scenario. Yes, I know computers can't do true RNG but even for a program trying to simulate something random there's no way it would come up with 3 identical sets followed by 2 identical sets different from the first 3.

  • Honestly feels as though this applies to other dungeons! Heavily weighted in favour of armour than weapons imo.

    • By the way the farm that we were doing was from the second encounter mostly and the loot table was not correct
